Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA, for short) is a service provided by Amazon.com wherein you ship them your product, and they fulfill your orders. There's more to it than that, but that's the basic gist of it - Amazon ships the product to the customer upon submission of an order, provides them with a tracking number, and handles any customer service or returns associated with the order.
With SkuVault's new FBA module, you can now view FBA quantities and status. Statuses include: "quantity of the SKU inbound to an Amazon FBA facility", "quantity of the SKU being transfered between FBA facilities", and "quantity of the SKU in stock at an FBA facility". SkuVault can also track FBA kit SKUs, as well as single-item SKUs.
With this information now readily available in SkuVault, the time going back and forth between your various programs and softwares is minimized. Being able to see the status of all the quantities of all your SKUs on all your marketplaces (and, now, Amazon Fulfillment Centers) in one place gives you an immediate understanding of where all your inventory is located and allocated. Always knowing how much you have of any given SKU also helps you to reorder in a timely and cost-effective manner, so you never have listings without quantities.
